Hair ties that are starting to deviate from the ordinary have increasingly been incorporated into my daily routine as well as comfortably establishing their residence in my handbags, back pockets and wrists these days.

One range in particular that has been stealing the spotlight is from The No-Bump Bobble, by the lovely Elysia who is also a blogger over at Little Beauty Blogg. These stretchy elasticated fabric bobbles come in many different colours and styles at a very affordable rate ranging from £0.60-£1.10 each.

I particularly love these hair ties over the standard ones, or even popular plastic Invisibobble simply because they're flat, virtually taking up next to no space and fit around my wrist effortlessly without leaving any red marks. The usable part of each bobble measures 7.5cm in length [folded], and won't move or slip off your wrist on its own.

On my thick, 1.5 inch diameter hair I have found these no-bump bobbles to hold up my mane securely for long periods of time without leaving any kinks behind [that unattractive random bump from having your hair up]. Being made out of fabric also means that it's pleasant to quickly remove the bobble from your hair without the pain and hassle of the hair tie from tugging and pulling any dreaded strands off your head.

Since having these in my life I must say that I haven't used anything else to hold up my hair, also given the choice between these or Invisibobbles I'd go for the no-bump bobble.. every time.

You can shop for these awesome no-bump bobbles here, do click through all to see all the colours and prints they have, including My Little Pony!

  1. I love the idea of these, my hair is very thick, so once it goes up it has to stay up!

    1. Aw thank you for your kind comment, Zee! Even with the big fabric knot and "tail" I don't find the bobble to be annoying on my wrist - which is a great start! xx
