It's been a long-awaited announcement but I'm delighted to be able to share with you that new makeup brand Kubiss London have finally launched in ASDA stores throughout the UK! I haven't been able to track down any stalls in my city just yet, but at just £1.95 per item with the range covering eyes, lips, face and nails I am eager to see what else they offer that'll gauge my interest. I've also been putting to the test one of their eyeshadow trios too, so let's have a look at my thoughts so far..
Housed in delicate plastic casing, Trio Eyeshadow No. 1 [£1.95]* [oh how I just wish they'd come up with better names!] is composed of three soft and blendable shades appropriate for everyday wear to work/school. In terms of finish, I believe the darkest [1st] shade is completely matte - perfect for filling in your brows too as the colour payoff is unfortunately not as good as the other two satin shades, resulting in two swipes for the photographed swatch above. As for wear time, with primer I have found these eyeshadows to remain on my eyelids for an extra hour or so, however, this sadly doesn't prevent signs of creasing and fading after a couple of hours.

Looking at my thoughts it does seem that I don't think too highly of this Eyeshadow Trio, but one product is not an accurate representative of the entire brand - everybody's preferences are different too, so what may not work for me might end up being your holy grail product!

What do you think of Kubiss London so far? Will you be keeping an eye out for the next time you're in ASDA?
